Warehouse Dock Advantage Preventative Maintenance Program
For your loading dock equipment.
Depending on the usage of your loading dock levelers and the recommendations provided by the manufacturer we can set up quarterly, semi annual or monthly service contracts.
During the time of our visit we will:
Inspect, lubricate and adjust the following:
holdown and float assembly, ratchet bar, support leg, cam and hinge assembly, lip extension mechanism, counterbalance spring system, safety stops, all cables and clamps, release chains and pulley, power pack, and the cross traffic legs.
On hydraulic levelers we will do all of the above, plus check all hoses and fittings, and add fluid when necessary.
We will also inspect for damage to dock pit area, frame and deck of dock board, check for night locks and make sure all welds are secure. Besides the dock leveler itself, we will visually inspect all dock seals, shelters, air bags etc. for damage.
Bumpers that are torn from the wall of which need to be replaced will be brought to the attention of the person designated in charge of our paper work.
Concrete walls damaged by trucks can repaired. The service technician will bring this to your attention for approval before the work is performed.
Besides the preventative maintenance on your dock levelers we can also change the fluid on your hydraulic boards, service your truck restraints, and clean your dock pits.
Our service men are highly trained and are covered by workmen's compensation and public liability insurance. A certificate of insurance will be furnished upon request.

An advantage preventative maintenence program allows you to protect your dock equipment investment. Becuase of your busy schedule, it is often difficult to provide the maintenence as recommended by the factory to protect the life of the unit.

APMP are customized to fit your needs not that the standard contract says you must have. Programs can be designed for quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis, during normal business hours or off hours.

No matter which program you and your service tech decide that best fits your needs, you can rest assured that while the program is in force, a highly trained service tech will arrive at your location to perform the necessary services, report any problems for immediate repair and update you as to when the next service call is needed.
Scheduling
Before our visit, a telephone conversation will take place with the person designated on our paper work. We will call to confirm the date and also to confirm all trucks and trailers are removed from the dock.
Follow Up
Periodically a person from the office will call to see how things are working out and also see if there is any questions or concerns with your docks and dock equipment.
