Pallet flow pallet racking systems are a FIFO ( First In First Out ) dynamic storage system. You can achieve high density storage while still maintaining FIFO and handling efficiency. The pallet is fed into the storage lane from the loading aisle and gravity fed in order to the discharge aisle. The pallets are placed onto rollers in which the pallets easily flow towards the front of the rack system where the front pallet rests on pallet stops waiting to be unloaded. Gravity flow racking maximizes storage space by minimizing aisles. Gravity pallet flow systems can be designed to hold up to 20 pallets deep in one lane.
