At AK Material Handling Systems, giving back isn’t just something we do—it’s part of who we are. This year, our team proudly participated in the Pickle with Purpose fundraiser to benefit CROSS Services, a local nonprofit that provides essential food support and compassionate resources to individuals and families in our community.
Held at Pints & Paddles in Maple Grove, MN, the event was a fun and meaningful opportunity for team members to step onto the pickleball court—some for the very first time. This marked AKMHS’s debut in a pickleball fundraiser, and it quickly became a memorable team bonding experience.

CROSS Services’ mission is to meet basic needs and enhance the well-being of those they serve through essential food distribution and supportive programs. Funds from the Pickle with Purpose event will help them continue this vital work throughout the Twin Cities metro area.
