AK Hires Aspiring Shipping Specialist Matt Johnson

It is hard to fathom that tomorrow is already October 1st, but I tell ya what, they are not lying when they tell ya, “time flies when you’re having fun”. The fun sure continues here at AK Material Handling Systems, as we have just hired another aspiring shipping specialist to help us leap into the fourth quarter of 2013. As of September 30th, 2013, Matt Johnson is an official member of the AK Team. AK welcomes Matt with open arms; he comes from a large background of warehousing knowledge and shipping expertise, adding to our already very talented warehouse staff. Matt will jump right on board as a shipping specialist; fitting right in with the crew, as he already knows Eric from previous ventures at another business. Please take a second and learn a little more about Matt through our welcome interview.

How did you first hear about AKMHS?
AK Team Member, Eric Dutcher, is someone I used to work with. He informed me of the “Shipping Specialist” position that was available.

What interests you most about AKMHS?
The company is growing, everyone seems welcoming and it seems like a smooth transition of what I used to do.

What interests you the most about the material handling industry?
Learning about all of the new products is very interesting.

As you know, we are pretty big sports fans here at AK, so the next big question is what are your favorite sports teams?
