Q: What is one thing about you that most people don’t know?
I’m obsessed with serial killers. I even started my college degree with my major in Forensic Psychology to become a criminal profiler with the FBI, and I have a “serial killer library” in my living room. But then I had kids, so I just obsess over my books and TV shows about them instead.
Q: Any hidden talents?
I’m pretty good at trap shooting. I shot my first 24 this past week, and then got another 24 the second round that night. I’m an extreme couponer, and I’m pretty good at decorating.
Q: Best vacation or Travel spot you’ve been to?
Grand Marais, Minn. My favorite place in the world so far. My husband proposed to me as we were dangling our feet off of the top of Honeymoon Bluff which is a massive cliff overlooking an equally massive lake. Good thing I said yes!
Q: If you could witness any historical event, what would you want to see?
The Kennedy Assassination; see if I could help solve the mystery.
Q: If you were stuck on an island what three things would you bring?
Flint, a chicken, laundry detergent.
Q: Tell us a little bit about your family
I am married to my husband, Rory. We have 5 children between the two of us ages 10, 8 , 7 , 7, and 4. We are fortunate that we are a blended family, so we get every other weekend kid-free! We just bought our first house in Princeton, so we’re loving working on the place to make it exactly what we want.
Q: Best advice you ever received?
Choose your battles.
Q: What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
My dream minivan.
Q: What is the weirdest job you’ve ever had?
Selling pull tabs and running bar bingo.
Q: What tv show/movie are you ashamed to admit you love?
Vampire Diaries, which spun off into The Originals, which now spun off into Legacies. All of them are bad, but I love them so much.
