Pallet support bars are also known as safety bars or pallet crossbars. They are mainly used in selective pallet racking in place of wire mesh decking or 2″ x 4″ wood and support the pallet on the rack. We recommend two pallet supports per pallet position. Crossbar capacities vary depending on load and shelf size.
There are many styles and manufacturers of pallet safety bars including drop-in flush-fitting, flanged which fit over the top of the beam, and slotted style which fit into slotted beams.
Helpful information on Pallet Support Bars:
Standard cross bars fit 1 5/8″ step beams.
Measurements needed: Step Depth, outside to outside of beam, and inside to inside.
Crossbars can be tek screwed to the front of beams.
Standard Sizes range from 30″ to 72″ Wide.
