Get The Right Fit

Don’t Underestimate Your Needs

Another important step to remember when ordering from our in-stock pallet racking is to know how much weight capacity you will actually need. It is better to error on the side of too much than to underestimate your needs. Your rack systems will no doubt need to be able to handle a certain amount of weight. There are two parts to this. They are:

Beam Capacity – You can calculate how much capacity you will need by multiplying the weight of your heaviest pallet by the number of pallet spaces per beam level you need to have.

Frame Capacity – When you have determined your beam capacity you then have to calculate your frame capacity, which is done by determining the spacing of the maximum beams you will be using on your system. You will need to measure the beam spacing from the top of one beam level to the top of the next beam level.
