Project Spotlight: New York Push Back Pallet Storage System
Recently a New York business in the health care industry contacted us through our website wondering if we could provide a push back pallet storage system for their warehouse. The client already researched their rack options and knew that push back was the best solution to maximize their space while segregating their different products throughout the warehouse.
Push back creates a major advantage in this application over double deep because of the increased pallet positions it provides. The push back system we provided allowed for 219 pallet storage positions compared to the 156 pallet positions that double deep would have provided. Another benefit to the push back rack system is that a special double reach lift truck is not needed, unlike the double deep rack system which requires a special lift. In the end, this push back pallet storage system allowed them to minimize space requirements and maximize the number of picking faces. It also reduced their picking times.
We partnered with Frazier Industrial and were awarded this custom push back pallet rack project. The installation went smooth and the client was very satisfied with the end product.
