Cantilever Racking Defined

Cantilever Rack is a freestanding storage unit with horizontal load carrying arms extending outward from a single vertical column. The absence of vertical support on the outboard ends of the arms permits uninterrupted storage of long lengths of material.

Flexibility

Understanding that warehouses typically have a wide variety of product sizes that need to be stored, cantilever rack systems are modular in nature allowing for easy reconfiguring as storage requirements change. Different arm lengths can be ordered, different brace sets can be used and you could even turn a single-sided unit into a double-sided rack system. All of this needs to be done with caution as capacities change when you start altering the original design.
