We recently completed a small project for a customer located in Stafford County, Virginia. The Falmouth Fire Department called AKMHS in search of a pallet rack system that they could build around a tight area in their garage. They liked the industrial look and strength of garage racking and asked if we would custom-build a rack for this area. With some precise measurements, AK was able to design them a custom rack that fit right around their compressor and they were able to maximize their storage in the garage. As you can see in this custom system three uprights were used and some custom short beams were used to maximize the lower space. Along with the rack, AK also provided the customer with some J&L custom decks to fit the 66” Long custom beams over top.

The customer also ordered some additional standard light duty racking for different areas in their facility. In the end, it was a pleasure for us to be able to help the Falmouth Fire Department maximize their storage.
