All About Used Pallet Rack
Used pallet rack is essentially what you’d think it is — pallet rack that has been previously used, but is still in good enough shape to be used again. Used pallet rack can come in many different styles, just like brand new pallet rack. Like most previously-used products, used pallet rack is almost always less expensive than a brand new version of the same product. Dealers are able to obtain used rack from end users for much less than it costs to purchase brand new racking from manufacturers, and the savings are passed on to the customer. These savings often make used pallet rack extremely appealing to potential customers, particularly those who don’t require a state-of-the-art rack system or who are utilizing pallet rack for personal use rather than in a warehouse. Potential users must be careful when purchasing and implementing used pallet rack, however. Just as there is no way of knowing exactly how a used car was treated by its previous owner, there is no way of knowing exactly how racking was treated by its previous user. Therefore, those buying used pallet rack shouldn’t assume that used rack will be able to perform the same as new racking.

As we said earlier, used pallet racking can be an excellent option for anyone with general pallet rack needs that don’t require a high caliber rack system. Used selective racking, like new selective racking, is extremely versatile. It can be used for a wide array of applications, including personal use, such as storing heavy machinery off of the floor of a garage, or organizing farm equipment.
